The most recent aquisition to the collection is this nice and original WD B40 GB Mk1 rolling chassis. Sadly the engine (Matching) was removed by the previous owner to build a competition machine.(very sad in my view. But I would say that!)
This WD B40 was aquired a few years back from a furniture auction and was used on the road until the decision to use the engine was taken.
I can tell from the registration plate it was registered in the Peterborough area 18 years ago and somehow over the years found its way to rural Somerset.
Crankcases have been located (Thanks to Howard of Cheshire Beezers) and now the task of building a motor is on, so this GB will be back "in service" in 2009, so keep watching!
