Civilian History:

This bike was “demobbed” from active service in 1984.

Nothing is known of her life from 1984 to 1994. In February 1994 an age related plate was issued.

From 1994, it spent the next 11 years stripped down to the last nut, bolt and washer, languishing in various boxes and polythene bags, awaiting a restoration, which never came.

This bike was purchased for the collection in February 2005 and all the constituent parts were transported from Hertfordshire to Cambridgeshire to begin the restoration and rebuild.

Following refurbishment, which lasted a couple of months, this GB was once again complete and on the road.

It retains the vast majority of the original WD specification equipment, with few exceptions, including original equipment Hella indicators.
