Civilian History:

It was disposed of on the 30/07/75 from Ruddington at an auction, being sold to Classic Motorcycles, Bedford.

It was subsequently registered in June 1978 and spent most of its life with two owners, in Worcester (1978 to 1985) and Birmingham (1985 to 1992).

It came into my ownership via a quirk of fate. At the BSAOC event at Billing in June 2004, I met the owner and sold him a new trials front tyre. 2 months later the tyre was back in my ownership along with the bike!

It retains the vast majority of the original WD specification equipment, with few exceptions, including period indicators, which I believe were fitted during its service career.
