Civilian History:

Following its exit from the army the bike was registered in April 1974 I know nothing of its life from then, until it was acquired following a meeting with the previous owner at the War and Peace show 2005.

When acquired, this GB was loosely assembled, a non-runner and in a very poor state of repair, requiring complete restoration if it was to grace the roads again. The restoration was completed in late September 06.

This GB retains the vast majority of the original WD specification equipment, with few exceptions.
